Job Description
Until now, the company is a direct to consumer provider of products. The company will now expand its business with a strategic entry and approach towards the commercial B2B market. With the two brands AIRDoctor and AquaTru, the company intends to identify, pursue and execute sales of products to commercial buildings such as Healthcare, Offices, Schools, Fitness Centers and Hotel facilities.
The intention is also to pursue direct sales to large account end-users within above channel segments as well as set up distribution partners to buy and sell in the Office Coffee Service and Water spaces. You will analyze and report on market status and development to ensure strategy and product development is in alignment with market expectations. Internally, you will work with a cross-functional team including Product Management, Marketing, Technology, Operations, Project Management and Customer Service.
What You’ll Do:
- Achieve (or exceed) sales and profitability targets for the Air Doctor and AquaTru product lines, report monthly results, and provide input to develop quarterly forecasts.
- Meet regularly with key stakeholders to develop and maintain strong relationships built on mutual trust, respect, and cooperation.
- Develop a plan for targeting selected strategic regions/accounts for penetration.
- Actively seek and establish partners and opportunities to stimulate market demand in order to maximize turnover and profit.
- Coordinate sales activities, which includes communicating customer requirements cross-functionally (Leadership, Marketing, Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales Support)
- Provide market feedback to Product Managers and Business Leaders about the developments and trends in the industry, within customer base and with competition.
- Attend trade shows and assist in the selection and preparation of samples and promotional materials.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to all sales leads.
- Ensure accurate reporting and accounting of Sales leads and opportunities within CRM tool.
- Create support and manage the sales forecast in the monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to support the business.
What You’ll Have:
- BS or BA degree
- Experience in the Water and/or Office Coffee Service industry is a must for this challenging position.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in outside sales with strong commercial exposure.
- Ability to lead and manage remotely.
- Manage the goal setting and performance management process for direct reports.
- Good organization skills, strong work ethic, and the ability to be self-motivated.
- Be customer focused, results-oriented, and possess strong negotiation skills.
- Promotes teamwork environment and collaboration.
- Proactive, energetic, and conceptual with a hands-on mindset
- Advanced ability to use relevant software programs (e.g., MS Office, CRM, etc.).
- A proven track record demonstrating a team-oriented attitude and excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to travel 50-60% of the time.
