Job description

Longevity Health Plan is growing rapidly and is looking to add new talent to our team. Longevity Health Plan currently has operations in Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Michigan New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania, with plans to start-up operations in other states in the very near future. Due to our rapid growth, we have an immediate need for a National Implementation Sales Executive.

General Purpose:_* The individual holding this position is required to support and demonstrate their commitment to the Longevity Health Statement of Purpose, which is: To improve the health and quality of life of nursing home residents by caring for their unique medical, social and emotional needs.

National Implementation Sales Executives are responsible for driving massive Medicare Advantage growth in the Nursing Home and I-SNP market. Sales Executives are expected to produce high volume of enrollments during AEP season (between 150-200 enrollments) and throughout regular season (between 400-500 enrollments in a year). Earn up to $200,000 in total compensation, including a $75,000 base and full benefits (healthcare, dental and life insurance, a 401(k), etc.).

Candidates must be capable of driving high volume sales in person and on the phone, primarily dealing with beneficiaries’ family members and state Guardians. Agent must have and maintain a valid, active, Health Insurance Producer licenses for all operation states. Agents must be highly motivated, capable of high-volume sales and be able to work under stress. Travel time can be up to 75%. Applicant without active health insurance license will not be considered.

This position will collaborate with the broader Implementation team, including Operations and Clinical managers, who all work together to build partnerships with nursing homes and their staff and drive enrollment.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:*

  • Achieve enrollment and membership target through compliant sales activities.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to construct strong relationships with Nursing Home facility staff and educate them on Longevity Health Plan benefits.
  • Implement sales initiatives across the country, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Collaborate with the Implementation team to identify opportunities for business expansion and lead generation Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of sales initiatives.
  • Facilitate meetings between nursing home staff, care providers, and the Longevity team.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Licensure:*

  • Have and maintain a valid, active, Health Insurance Producer licenses for all operating states. (Company reimbursement for continuing education and licensure).
  • Valid state driver’s license with a good driving record and proof of automobile insurance required.

Education and Training:*

  • Successfully complete Annual AHIP Medicare + Fraud, Waste, and Abuse certification (Company reimbursement).
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Knowledge and Experience:*

  • A minimum of 2 years of sales experience required, preferably field sales.
  • Experience in working with managed care, working with value-based payment models in the nursing home/long term care environment and understanding the value drivers for ISNPs.
  • Project management experience desired.
  • Ability to work as team towards meeting/exceeding goals.
  • Ability to work remotely and flex work hours as needed.
  • General knowledge of computers including Microsoft Office products and ability to quickly learn to use Contact Management software.
  • Comfortable working in a Skilled Nursing Home environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Founded in 2018, Longevity Health started as an Institutional Special Needs Plan (ISNP), a type of Medicare Advantage health plan that addresses significant unmet needs of long-term institutionalized members who reside in nursing homes. Through rapid growth from 2018 to 2022, we expanded our market footprint and currently offer ISNP Medicare Advantage plans in Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and North Carolina.
