Basic Functions:
Reporting to the SVP of Commercial Operations, the National Account Manager is primarily responsible for all aspects of promoting and selling the Cosette product portfolio to a specified list of customers. The Manager is expected to meet or exceed sales and profitability goals, develop and implement customer level strategies and tactics, successfully negotiate and resolve business issues, and develop close business relationships with a broad and deep contact list within the customer-base.
Core Responsibilities:
• Responsible for a designated territory with a focus on selling the Cosette product portfolio to a specific account base, with an end-goal of meeting or exceeding all assigned sales goals and key performance metrics.
• Lead the development and implementation of account plans with a cross-functional team approach, sound account strategies and tactics, and effective allocation of resources.
• Analyze key results in a timely manner to ensure performance against objectives and expectations. If required, will then implement actions to correct deficiencies and/or maximize opportunities.
• Drive effective account planning and management by identifying key influencers within the account base and building relationships at the executive level.
• Leverage the extensive base of close relationships in the territory to produce optimal results.
• Implement the necessary process changes that lead to positive customer feedback on the value Cosette offers or provides.
• Attend key trade shows and industry events.
• Work closely with the Marketing and R&D/Business Development teams to share market intelligence.
• As directed by Commercial Operations leadership, create, run and analyze various business reports that aid the team in performing its functions.
• Special projects as needed and assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
• BA/BS degree in Science, Business or Marketing (MS in Marketing or MBA preferred).
• Minimum three years of experience in the U.S. generic pharmaceutical industry in a sales, marketing, finance or purchasing capacity.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Oracle, BI and other relevant software programs and databases.
• Ability to travel (10-20%) to meet sales territory, customer and industry requirements.
