National Account Executive (Midwest or East Coast)
Position Summary
National Account Executives at Launchcode connect talent to opportunity by building strong, long-term relationships with enterprise companies who are seeking skilled technical talent. Through full lifecycle business development and ongoing account management, Account Executives oversee end-to-end enterprise sales activities from outbound prospecting, nurturing, contract negotiations, requisition attainment, and through ongoing relationship management. In this regionally-based role with national reach, they play a vital role in driving national sales growth, expanding market reach, and helping Launchcode achieve revenue targets.
This is a Full-time position reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, and requires 60-70% travel. This position has no direct reports. This is a fully remote position, with a schedule that may adjust for personal or family responsibilities and honor a work-life balance. The on-target earnings (OTE) compensation range for this role is between $120,000-$175,000 in year 1 with uncapped upside potential.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end sales processes, including prospecting, lead qualification, lead nurturing, and successful closure of sales opportunities across the country
- Leverage relationships: Build and nurture strong relationships with Technology leaders at enterprise-level clients to help them realize the significance of skills-based hiring for entry-level tech roles and tailor engagement opportunities that provide mutual benefits
- Be the thought leader in our space: Consult on and market the need for an entry-level tech pipeline to Fortune 500 companies and high-potential start-ups
- Sell the benefits: Be a strategic partner to our clients, ensuring that they recognize the benefits of skills-driven hiring for their growth and success
- Advocate for our candidates: Be the advocate for the folks we serve and help them enter their first career in technology
- Create and execute a comprehensive corporate engagement strategy that aligns with our mission and goals, identifying potential corporate partners and collaboration opportunities
- Track, measure and communicate funnel activity, generating reports that show the success of your outreach efforts
Qualifications
- A deep commitment to our mission and values, and a passion for transforming the technology and workforce development/education sectors
- A history and strong desire to search for, qualify, nurture, and close deals
- 5+ years of experience in staffing/ recruiting business development or enterprise sales with Fortune 500 companies preferred
- Comfort negotiating and driving sales with senior management in large organizations
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization
- Experience building and managing a book of business exceeding $5 million in revenue
Nice to haves
- Experience with technical talent development. You can “talk tech” with hiring managers
- Passion for data-driven decisions
- Experience using GoogleSuite or web-based tools
- Proficiency with sales tools (Hubspot, Salesforce)
