Nail Salon Receptionist

• HIZ MEN SPA is seeking a high energy, smart and detailed (Front Desk Receptionist) to join our dynamic team! The front desk receptionist will be the first face our customers see so the ideal candidate will be someone who is warm, welcoming and loves interacting with people. We have a highly collaborative environment so being a team player is a must as is reliability and dedication.

Main responsibilities include but not be limited to:

• Welcome and make customers and prospective customers comfortable. As the first person our customers/prospective customers meet, you are the first impression of the salon. Develop professional and personalized relationships with customers.
• Accurately book, change and cancel appointments.
• Upsell Membership Packages
• Ensure that the coffee, tea, and water area is clean and stocked
• Ensure that the check-in and payment process is handled in accordance with company policy by processing transactions accurately
• Utilize computers with skill and proficiency, while maintaining complete confidentiality in all customers matters in accordance with company policy * answer
• the phone promptly and professionally

Minimum Job Qualifications

• Professional demeanor and personal presentation
• Able to build effective working relationships
• Handle customers’ questions and concerns promptly, professionally and courteously * Maintain a clean, safe, fully-stocked and well-organized work area
• Ensure adequate stock of supplies and equipment; inform management when stock is low
• Must possess the ability to work without constant direct supervision
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment
• Assist in all areas of daily operation as requested by the Salon Manager
• Be on time and maintain consistent, regular attendance
• Develop and maintain expert knowledge and understanding of our salon
• across many functions and with diverse customers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Shift:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Nail care: 1 year (Required)
• Receptionist: 1 year (Preferred)
