DAKOTA NEWS NOW is an award-winning television operation serving viewers in the eastern half of South Dakota as well as portions of southwest Minnesota and northwest Iowa. The stations operate from a new studio in downtown Sioux Falls as one rebranded organization called Dakota News Now. The facilities put Dakota News Now on the cutting edge of television and news gathering technology, making it one of the most state-of-the-art television stations in the market and the region. The Dakota News Now team produces 36 hours of news each week, with multiple newscasts across all our stations.
Located in Eastern South Dakota, Sioux Falls is consistently recognized for its strong economy, low unemployment and entrepreneurial appeal. The ideal candidate will assist local and regional businesses create solution-oriented campaigns that connect local advertisers of all sizes to audiences across multiple screens. The Multi-Media Account Executive must be engaging and strategic, with an ability to collaborate and effectively communicate with decision-makers as well as with other departments within the station.

- Build, manage and maintain existing account list. Ideal candidate will be able to develop relationships with area and regional businesses, work to discover challenges and needs, and develop marketing solutions.
- Review upcoming opportunities and present them to clients in a timely manner.
- Understand Broadcast strategies and the full complement of not only Dakota Now Now core digital properties, but other digital strategies as well, including but not limited to, Audience Targeting, Search, Social Media marketing and Streaming.
- Remain current on industry trends in the digital space; e.g., mobile, display, CTV, SEM, email marketing and social
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in digital marketing or advertising or equivalent work experience.
- A track record of successful sales or customer service experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, yet committed to a positive team environment.
- Strong organizational skills within a fast-paced environment. The sales environment will change day to day and the ability to adapt quickly is important.
