Job description

Directive Consulting is the performance marketing agency for SaaS and Tech companies. We use Customer Generation (a marketing methodology developed by us) which focuses on SQLs and Customers instead of traditional metrics like MQLs. We offer Paid Media, SEO, Performance Creative, and Video to our clients by creating comprehensive digital marketing strategies that allow our clients to hit their SQL targets, every time.

You are an experienced Digital Marketing professional who has agency experience in creating client growth plans in order to expand services and scopes of work. You do this through identifying strategic growth opportunities within your active B2B client portfolio. You are a strong communicator and consultative expert who thrives in an environment built on growth and excellence.

A core driver of your success in this role will be in partnering with our service line Directors and Associate Directors to identify opportunities and create client growth strategies in order to expand our services with our clients. You will be required to assess the expansion opportunities viability and will need to pass a highly strategic and difficult onboarding process to be fully onboarded and approved for the role.

In this role you will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and closing B2B deals to drive revenue growth and will report to the COO. You will be a part of the Client Operations team which encompasses all of our product consultants and leadership.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Identify, engage, and close B2B SaaS client growth opportunities
  • Partnering with our service line leadership teams to create clear growth strategies on a client by client bases, including timing of expansion and target growth goals by year end
  • Exceptional critical + strategic thinking skills
  • Exceptional project + time management skills
  • Polished communication skills; ability to drive a conversation with executives
  • Negotiating contracts
  • Closing new business
  • Exceeding your client growth target on a quarterly basis

Work Environment Requirements
As a remote-first company, you'll have the ability to work from anywhere in the US, with the option to enjoy our state-of-the-art offices in Irvine, California. For some positions, as posted, we will accommodate global opportunities where we have established businesses, including Canada, the UK, and Australia. For global locations, you must have established and current work authorization and permanently reside in that country.

This role has the opportunity to operate 100% virtually from your home office. We primarily collaborate with our colleagues through virtual meetings (Zoom), and Slack. In this role, you will be required to operate a laptop computer (PC or Mac available), computer software platforms, and other office productivity tools as necessary. Due to the nature of this role, you must be able to remain stationary for extended periods, must be able to observe and interpret written and/or verbal communication, must have reliable internet access, and a professional background.
