Job Summary: We welcome to join our team as a Lead MRI Technologist. In this role, you will ensure quality in imaging, patient care and work flow. Monitors patient documentation for timely completion and accuracy.
Oversees quality control testing, equipment maintenance and trouble shooting. Serves as a resource to department staff as well as other members of the team as needed. Performs staff orientation, training, and coaching.
Provides input to staff performance evaluations. Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately. Ensures all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
Ensures prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history). Minimum Requirements: Other: Completion of an accredited Radiology Program. Minimum 2 Year / Associate Degree Acquired or actively pursuing. Preferred 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Acquired or actively pursuing.
Preferred 1 - 3 Years One to three years of MRI experience with an understanding of complex exams, protocol manipulation, and current MRI safety measures. Customer service is a primary focus. Focus on providing high quality individualized patient centered workflow. Before releasing the patient, assure that the entire patient process is finished.
Be prepared to assist in other departments. A willingness to assist outside of your own work area is critical to our staffing and patient care needs. Each team member in radiology needs to assist in identifying ways to more efficiently deliver healthcare.
This often means looking at our current workflow as well as how we interact with other departments to streamline processes. Adequately manages staffing levels according to budget. Maintains Kronos for staff schedule updates, PTO approval, and adjusting changes on the fly.
