Moving Company Manager (Crew Lead)

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Crew Leader to join our team. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of workers and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. You will be required to be proficient in interacting with customers, as well as being able to manage time in a great manner. You must be able to drive the company box truck, as well as work the company tablet. You will also be required to have completed the tasks for the day as needed.This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

- Lead and supervise a crew of workers in various tasks

- Assign duties and responsibilities to crew members

- Ensure that all work is completed according to established guidelines and standards

- Train new crew members on job duties and safety procedures

- Monitor crew performance and provide feedback for improvement

- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and regulations

- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve any issues or concerns

- Perform hands-on work alongside the crew as needed

Skills:

- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and guide a team

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

- Experience in heavy lifting, warehouse operations, or commercial driving is preferred

- Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, van driving, courier services, or delivery driving is a plus

- Proficient in loading and unloading materials or equipment

- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 45 per week
