POSITION SUMMARY
The Garage Helper is responsible for general custodial duties in our Service Centre shop facility.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Washing, sweeping and scrubbing buses.
- Detailing new and used buses, including waxing of interior floors
- Servicing bus restrooms
- Cleaning of offices, restrooms, shop floors and related custodial functions.
- Vehicle upholstery cleaning.
- General shop area custodial maintenance.
- Movement of parts within shop area (no movement of coaches).
- General outside lot and building custodial tasks.
- Assist other maintenance personnel with general (non-skilled) tasks.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to drive forklift trucks and floor cleaning/scrubbing equipment would be an asset.
- Minimum 3 years of related experience.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
