GENERAL SUMMARY: Provides servicing support for all real estate loans, ensuring adherence to all applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and guidelines, including Investor Seller/Servicer guidelines.

** This is a hybrid opportunity that will be required to come into our Concord HQ office location 3 days in office, 2 days work from home. **

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES may include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Duty


Assisting with member phone calls and loan servicing related cases while providing excellent service to members and staff, responding to verbal and written inquiries/requests within the expected time frame.


Modification file audits – validates and verifies all critical data on newly modified loans.


Applying current knowledge of modification guidelines, fees, strategies, practices and integrates into member conversations in a professional manner.


Update ACH payment changes due to or as a result of modifications, escrow analysis, escrow cancellation or adjustable rate changes.


Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to processing requests for verification of mortgages; subordination requests; and boarding funded loans, which may include data entry, ordering property tax service contracts, setup of transfer records, and setting up internal and external ACH accounts on applicable systems.


Processes and closes modification workouts according to plan specifications including clearing conditions and requesting documents where necessary.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • Completion of high school diploma (or equivalent), plus one to three months’ related experience and/or training.
  • Basic knowledge of consumer or real estate transactions. Previous mortgage support or servicing experience preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Ability to read and interpret procedure manuals, policies, guidelines, simple instructions, and correspondence.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence using correct spelling and grammar.
  • Ability to speak clearly, tactfully, and effectively to members, volunteers, and employees at all levels of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Ability to quickly learn and maintain current working knowledge of all pertinent software applications.
  • Proficient in the use of Word and Excel.
  • Ability to effectively use all applicable banking and loan systems.
  • Ability to effectively utilize Outlook and employee Intranet.
  • Moderate keyboard skills at 40 wpm and 10-key by touch.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Work involves standing and walking for brief periods of time, but most duties are performed from a seated position.

  • Work normally requires finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to operate computer keyboard at a proficient skill level.
  • Must be able to speak on the telephone for several hours per day.
  • Requires close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
