Position Summary:
The Mortgage Servicing Specialistis focused on improving the customers’ experience with the company. Your primary responsibilities will be to manage the process flow of email communications within our two main customer-facing inboxes for the Specialty Servicing Department and responding to customer queries in a timely and effective manner, via email and/or phone. Several departments (including Loss Mitigation, Correspondence, Payoff, and Foreclosure) will rely on your timeliness, resourcefulness, and accuracy to ensure our company remains compliant with industry requirements and regulations. The right candidate must have excellent verbal and written skills to maintain a professional level of communication with our clients and personnel. Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on business needs. This is not a remote position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the Customer Service Inbox for email communications; provide timely response and/or forward to the appropriate department/subject matter expert for processing.
- Manage the Mortgage Assistance Inbox for RMA Applications; provide timely response/take immediate action to ensure our company remains compliant with industry requirements and regulations.
- Extensive communication with Borrowers, 3rd Parties, and Investors (email and phone).
- Interpretation of Loan Documents and Legal Documents (e.g. Note, Deed, C&D, POA, Estate Documents).
- Document each transaction and attach supporting documentation in the Loan Servicing System.
Education and Skills:
- High School diploma (or equivalent)
- Minimum two years mortgage loan servicing experience required
- Minimum two years Loss Mitigation experience required
- General understanding of mortgage loan servicing and loan documents
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Advanced organizational and follow-up skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional focus and attention to detail
- Proficient MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Strong typing and data entry skills
- Bilingual preferred

Pay: $24.50 - $32.00 per hour
