We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Mortgage Processor to join our team!
As a Mortgage Processor, you will be responsible for verifying and completing mortgage applications, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurately prepared and submitted for lender and underwriting review. You will work closely with loan officers, borrowers, and other stakeholders to facilitate a smooth and timely mortgage approval process.

Responsibilities Include:
- Review mortgage applications for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with lending requirements.
- Collect and verify all necessary documentation, including income statements, credit reports, employment verification, and property appraisals.
- Communicate with loan officers, borrowers, and third-party lenders to obtain missing documentation and address any questions or concerns throughout the application process.
- Input application information into the mortgage processing system accurately and efficiently.
- Analyze financial documents to assess borrower eligibility and compliance with lending guidelines.
- Prepare loan files for underwriting review, ensuring all required documents are included and organized according to company policies and regulatory standards.
- Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in loan applications or documentation promptly and effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service to borrowers and other stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing updates on the status of their mortgage applications.
- Manage multiple mortgage applications simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and maintain efficient workflow.
- Work with agents, title companies, and lender partners to ensure a successful and smooth mortgage experience, including affiliated business units, building strong referral relationships.
Experience:
- Previous experience in mortgage processing, banking, or related field required.
- Understanding of mortgage lending practices, regulations, and documentation requirements. Familiarity with loan origination software and systems is necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional education in finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to work within varying mortgage software systems including POS, LOS, Lender sites and CRM

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
