Mortgage Loan Officer

We are seeking aMortgage Loan Officerwho will be responsible for assessing the financial status of clients, advising them on suitable mortgage products, guiding them through the application process, and ensuring compliance with lending regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Originate Mortgage Loans
• Answer and manage incoming calls from customers
• Provide exceptional customer service through timely follow-up and courteous professional correspondence
• Establish and build relationships with customers and partners such as real estate agents, etc.
• Analyze clients needs in order to ensure compliance and maximum customer satisfaction
• Consult with borrowers and guide them through the loan process from inquiry to close, including securing borrower financial/credit information and other proper documentation
• Ensure successful completion of all assigned Mortgage Loan Officer Training and Licensing activities
• Understand and comply with current requirements of applicable federal and state laws and regulations
• Successfully structure loans for fulfillment partners to underwrite, process, and fund
• Collaborate with team members and share best practices
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage lending or a related financial services role.
• Strong understanding of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in Mortgage Loan origination software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Active California Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license.
