Mortgage Loan Officer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Loan Officer to join our team. As a Loan Officer, you will be responsible for assisting clients in obtaining loans for various purposes, such as purchasing a home or refinancing an existing mortgage. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services and sales, possess excellent communication skills, and be knowledgeable about loan origination processes.

Duties:
- Evaluate loan applications and determine the eligibility of applicants based on creditworthiness, income, and other relevant factors
- Guide clients through the loan application process and provide them with information on available loan options
- Collect and analyze financial information, such as credit reports, income documents, and bank statements
- Conduct thorough credit analysis to assess the risk associated with each loan application
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and Fair Housing regulations
- Collaborate with underwriters to review loan files and address any outstanding conditions or requirements
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and loan transactions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in mortgage lending guidelines

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Loan Officer or similar role in the banking or mortgage industry
- In-depth knowledge of loan origination processes and procedures
- Familiarity with accounting software and systems used in the industry
- Strong understanding of financial services and sales principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (preferred)
- Certification or licensing as a Loan Officer (preferred)

Pay: $119,071.00 - $142,263.00 per year
