Responsibilities:
- Assess the eligibility of loan applicants by thoroughly evaluating loan applications
- Analyze financial data to gauge creditworthiness and make informed decisions
- Assist clients in navigating the loan application process, providing comprehensive information about available loan options
- Collaborate effectively with underwriters, appraisers, and other professionals to facilitate accurate and timely loan processing
- Cultivate and sustain client relationships to foster new business opportunities
- Stay abreast of industry regulations and evolving lending practices to ensure compliance
Experience:
- Prior experience as a Loan Officer or in a similar capacity
- Proficiency in utilizing accounting software for efficient loan processing
- Strong command of basic mathematical principles and financial calculations
- Demonstrated success in financial sales and delivering exceptional customer service
- Aptitude for credit report analysis and conducting credit assessments
- Exceptional negotiation skills to secure favorable loan terms for clients
- Familiarity with FNMA guidelines and bank lending policies
This is a contractor role with a 1099 commission structure.
