POSITION SUMMARY:
The Monitoring Specialist II will support and assist the Lead Monitoring Specialist within the Monitoring Department. This position will assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with PV systems.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Troubleshoot and resolve solar systems and service issues that arise with modules, inverters, monitoring, and balance of system components
- Ensure PV performance monitoring by running reports on monitoring portals.
- Data maintenance on Podio
- Provide prompt user support
- Escalate issues to Supervisor
- Request service calls from Branch to close out monitoring alerts
- Provide set-up and general maintenance for new user accounts
- Effectively communicate with users & management team
- Appropriately document issues and solutions
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Certifications:High School Graduate or GED
Experience:
- Knowledge of the NEC and applicable codes and standard
- Previous experience in the solar industry preferred. 2 Year.
