Monitoring And Testing Analyst

The Monitoring and Audit Analyst in the Compliance Testing department is responsible for executing effective second line testing and monitoring of the Company's adherence to applicable federal and state regulations and internal standards/policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute risk assessments to detect compliance with federal and state regulations by the Company and its third parties.
• Develop and execute risk assessments to detect weaknesses in the Company's Compliance Management System.
• Interpret and analyze data trends, identify root cause(s), and recommend control improvements.
• Prepare detailed workpapers to support testing results.
• Report and present findings and observations.
• Track and ensure ineffective controls are properly and timely remediated.
• Perform testing of changes to existing or implementation of new products, services, materials, etc. within the Company's change management process.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

• 2- 4 years of Compliance Audit/Testing experience; prefers two years of a leadership role in Compliance function.
• Solid understanding of federal and state consumer financial laws (UDAAP, Truth in Lending, Truth in Advertising, ECOA,
• Strong understanding of quantitative and qualitative analysis methodologies.
• Ability to use relevant software and tools when performing testing and monitoring.
• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Effective communication, analytical, and task management skills.
• Process improvement oriented.
• Ability to perform individually and in teams.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent experience.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position regularly.
• Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operate a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and a printer.
• Occasionally may require light lifting up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment and Travel:

• Office environment.
• Minimal to no travel.
