About the role
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Lab Supervisor, the Lab Technician's major focus is on the Alternative Engineered Fuel "AEF" portion of the business, and then back up in the other areas. The Lab Technician assures the development of all AEF blended recipes meet our off-take partners blend specifications.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• QC/QA all processes area's throughout Circon Environmental facility.
• Insures all inbound and outbound analytical, specs, and procedures of each process area are in compliance and meet requirements.
• Minimize production cost by means of researching and redeveloping processes areas to meet specifications, as well as increasing and improving production safety
• Prepares and analyzes samples as assigned
• Calculates and reports analytical results
• Participates in general lab housekeeping, including sample sorting and disposal

Shift:
TypicallySchedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field preferred or equivalent work experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of waste industry and prior experience working in a lab preferred
• High attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite or similar software

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to perform strenuous physical activity.
• Requires standing and lifting up to fifty pounds. Position may also include carrying, walking, grasping, reaching, and crawling.
• Ability to wear & use PPE and respiratory protection equipment to include level B and C as needed
