Molecular Biology Technician
Summary:
Client is seeking A motivated individual with Molecular Biology experience to work closely with colleagues to extract nucleic acids from cells, amplify libraries via RT and PCR, and perform Next Generation Sequencing to identify sequences of interest.
Responsibilities:
This role will require developing and assessing new sequencing and automation technologies to rapidly identify high impact biotherapeutic agents.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a bachelor's and/or Master's degree with 1+ years' experience in Molecular Biology methods such as isolation of DNA/ RNA, setting up PCR reactions and performing DNA clean up using SPRI beads required.
Eagerness to learn new techniques and skills in Next Generation Sequencing and automation
Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet key project deadlines
