Job Summary:
To support manufacturing in the production of defect-free, reliable products to meet customer expectations and requirements.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conducts visual audits on products every hour to ensure quality standards are met
- Communicates with manufacturing about non-conforming parts
- Contains non-conforming parts/writes Defective Material Reports
- Conducts functional and mechanical testing of in-process material
- Assists manufacturing in correcting production problems by performing special tests, inspections, and audits
- Assists Lead Auditor with studies, DOEs, and as needed
- Performs special inspections and testing to support Quality Engineering, Product Engineering, or other areas as necessary
- Assist molding personnel with identifying product defects
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Detail oriented

- Attention to company metrics and deadlines with continuous effort to meet or exceed these expectations
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully
- Takes accountability for work and is responsible for quality and timeliness of own work
- Knowledge in a variety of QA testing equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- SPC and problem-solving ability
- Computer literacy required
- Focus on safety, adherence to safety policies and continuous attention to housekeeping for the work area and the plant
Education and Experience:
- Highschool Diploma/GED
- Prefer but not necessary 1 or more years of injection Molding Operator experience
- Consistently meet or exceed established productivity and quality levels
