POSITION OVERVIEW
Inspects, loads, unloads, trims and packs molded product to specifications on job instructions by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares molded product (i.e. trims, torches, cuts gates, etc.) for specific process area per job instructions.
- Inspects and measures products and components to verify conformance to specifications of process area and customer.
- Processes product through process area.
- Ensures proper inventory control on product in the Monitor System.
- Ensures proper level of housekeeping is maintained in all related work areas.
- Maintain open communications with team members and leadership.
- Ensure all safety requirements are maintained and followed.
- Record daily work hours by process team/part in the Monitor System.
- Participate in Continuous Process Improvement programs.
- Follow work instructions and complete daily layered audit checklist verification.
- Must be able to work overtime to meet production demands.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Promote safety & environmental compliance within the team by being involved in and/or supporting safety and environmental audit programs, completing audit tasks as assigned or required and reporting any possible unsafe or non-compliant environmental conditions or actions.

- Never operate a piece of machinery that is deemed defective or has apparent defects that may alter the operation of the machine.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10-20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
