Your Responsibilities
As a Digital Software Engineerfor John Deere ISG located in one of the locations, Urbandale, IA , Waterloo, IA, Austin, TX, or Moline, IL, you will be part of the core team tasked with delivering Deere’s first autonomous solutions.
- Develop new digital features and capabilities for autonomous equipment from concept to production
- Solve complex problems related to autonomous equipment software systems
- Ensure software quality, fix defects, and implement continuous improvements to autonomous system software

What Skills You Need
- At least 4 years of experience in native Android development.
- At least 4 years of experience in native iOS development.
- At least 4 years of experience in AWS development.
- At least 2 years of experience using IoT technologies.
- At least 6+ years professional programming experience on a team.
- Experience in with C++ and embedded programming.
- Experience in roles that required strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in roles that required strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Previous experience in the agriculture space.
- Previous experience with real time systems.
- Previous experience with video streaming.
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Computer or Electrical Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
