Role: Software Tools Engineer
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)

Description:
- The group is looking for a Software Engineer to be responsible for supporting our company's ongoing projects. You will be working closely with your team members to ensure that all software requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. Responsibilities include working with a team of engineers, creating software product schedules, ensuring quality of software, and delivering said products on time.
- To be a successful candidate, you will need to have proven experience in software development and the ability to take a set of revolving requires and ensure the product is to customer expectations.
- A Bachelor's degree is required, and experience in GNSS product development is desirable.
- You will be tasked with supporting both internal and external software tool projects to support the organization's strategic direction. You will be required to work with local and international groups to successfully release innovative products.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement new methods of automated tool test integration for current and upcoming Location products
- Received requirements and create quality tools
- Contribute ideas and follow through with designs for upcoming Location-based features
- Continued support and evolution of new and existing tools will be required
- 25% Travel Required
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree in engineering, business or related field.
- Familiarity with the continuous integration process and the use of GIT
- Ability to code C, C++, Python, Java (Android)
- A self-driven engineer with good task execution skills to deliver high-quality output in a timely manner
- Past experience leading a group of engineers to complete engineering tasks in a timely manner
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team player as part of a local and globally distributed team
- Strong mathematical and analytical abilities
- Solid communication and documentation skills
- Good understanding of GNSS principles, from signal generation, transmission, reception, measurement construction and final position generation

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
