Job Summary:

As an X-ray tech, you will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures with a high level of technical competency. Your role will require a solid understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology, allowing you to apply ionizing radiation for accurate radiologic diagnoses. Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic portable imaging for patients in their homes, home care settings, or client facilities.
- Perform X-ray examinations on patients, following established protocols and safety procedures.
- Ensure patient comfort and cooperation throughout the imaging process.
- Position patients correctly and accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
- Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring its proper functionality.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information.
Requirements:
- Valid certification as an X-ray technologist/ X-RAY Tech
- Proficiency in performing X-ray procedures with accuracy and efficiency
- Proficient in reading imaging in an EMR system.
- Solid understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Valid driver’s license
License/Certification:
ARRT Certification (Required)
