Duties, responsibilities, and qualifications:
- Provide roadside assistance in a safe, professional, and timely manner, free of accident, injury, and damage.
- Submit accurate invoices and appropriate payment on time for processing.
- Complete pre-trip inspection sheets daily
- Log in and submit work orders on TMT daily.
- Maintain truck fluid levels according to manufacturer standards and note quantities added on inspection sheet.
- Abide by all Federal, State and Municipal laws, rules, and ordinances.
- Maintain a clean driving record.
- Maintain truck and equipment in a safe, clean state, operating it in a safe and professional manner.
- Drive defensively, always wear your seat belt, remember the 4 second following rule, minimize backing and left turns.
- Ability to perform federal inspections in compliance if 396.17 through 396.23 Appendix G
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance inspections on power units and trailers.
- Lube, oil, and filter on power units
- Air brake component removal and installation
- Routine electrical repairs
- Suspension component replacement I.E., airbags
- Ability to perform routine bolt on component replacement, i.e.: alternator, starter, a/c compressor, air compressor, torque arms but not limited to these items.
- Ability to run torches, plasma and welding required.
- Ability to perform hydraulic repairs, i.e.: hose replacement and valve replacement.
- Able to perform wheel end replacement and diagnostics.
- Anti-lock brake diagnostic and component replacement
- Must have or be in the process of having NYS Inspectors License
- Electronic diagnostic ECM controlled components I.E., sensors, Alt, starter.
- King pin replacement except international prostar 2013-2018
- Fabrication capabilities, steel, aluminum MIG welding
- Wet kit installation
- Hydraulic diagnostics and component replacement
- Tire fault diagnostics and component replacement
- Manifold, turbo removal and installation
- All trailer diagnostics and repair
- Blueprint comprehension skills
- Following any other maintenance related directions

Qualifications:
- CDL A preferred (If CDL holder additional requirements will apply applicable to DOT/FMCSA regulations)
- 5-years' experience
- Must have an active valid driver's license.
- Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and agree to agencies drug freeworkplace policies
