Mobile Ice Cream Truck Driver

Overview:
THE ROLE

• This position is an in person. You will be responsible for safely driving the Mobile Ice Cream Truck to and from events. Cleaning and maintaining a safe, sterile environment. Greet customers and knowledge of making all Ice Cream items on the menu. Managing a cash register and good customer service skills. This position requires strong attention to detail, a high level of cleanliness, and a positive attitude.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Consistently represent all Dreamy Whip, LLC by personifying ALL company Core Values as listed in the Employee Handbook.
• Must have and maintain a valid KY driver’s license as well as a clean driving record.
• Must comply with department dress code.
• Must be able to effectively communicate to customers and co-workers.
• Must attend weekly staff (TBD)
• Ability to work with other employees, managers and customers to facilitate a fun, caring, cooperative work environment and customer service experience.
• This position comes with a great deal of trust and responsibility and you must hold yourself accountable for always making good use of company time.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move objects as needed

• High School diploma preferred.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

• Driving an Ice Cream Truck safely to and from each event, adhering to traffic and safety regulations.
• Handling cash transactions, accurately counting money, and making change.
• Keeping the Ice Cream Truck clean and well-maintained, both inside and out.
• Stocking inventory and replenishing supplies as needed.
• Maintaining records of sales and inventory levels.
• Following health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation.
• Interacting with children and families in a friendly and professional manner.
• Handling any customer inquiries or complaints efficiently and courteously.
• Adhering to company policies and procedures at all times.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing production demands.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by event schedules.

GENERAL EXPECTATIONS

• Drive an Ice Cream Truck to and from each event.
• Knowledge of all items on the menu.
• Make and serve Ice Cream items.
• Good communication skills between management, owners, customers and fellow team members.
• Ability to show up on time and ready to work.

Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
