QUALIFICATIONS
- ASE certification
- DOT certification and knowledge of compliance requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic OR in a technical school for Diesel Mechanics
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 75 pounds and provide your tools
Our ideal candidate is professional, hardworking, and detail-oriented. A CDL would be a bonus!
YOUR ROLE
You usually work from Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
In this role, you drive our mobile mechanic van to sites of broken-down vehicles and do what you can to get them back into optimal condition. You thoroughly inspect vehicles, determine what's wrong with them, and then complete the appropriate electrical and mechanical services. Whether you're working on engines, transmissions, brakes, or any other part, you get each vehicle back up and running. You record your services and parts used, communicating with our service writer to help everything get done promptly.
