Job Description Qualifications:
Boeing Defense, Space, & Security (BDS) located in Oklahoma City, OK, is seeking a Mission Systems Radar and Identify, Friend or Foe (IFF) - Electrical Engineering Manager( Level K) to specify, integrate, test and certify leading edge Radar and IFF solutions to directly support the warfighter. Boeing OKC is experiencing unprecedented growth across all of its supported platforms due to the award of multiple new contracts. Boeing OKC supports the following platforms; Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) for US, Saudi and NATO, Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEWC) for Australia, Turkey, United Kingdom and Korea, B-1 Strike Bomber, B-2 Stealth Bomber, B-52 Heavy Bomber, and the ALCM weapon. These platforms continue to be updated to keep them relevant and supportive of emerging military systems. Upgrades include state-of-the-art radar systems, hypersonic weapons systems, and cutting edge digital communication infrastructure.
Candidates selected for this position will work in the Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) and Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) Group supporting various international airborne command and control platforms. They will manage a team of engineers who manage the various Radar and IFF companies. This includes manpower planning, cost account management, supplier management, qualification and certification of our products. The candidate will work with the team to status and update plans of action to integrate the Radar and IFF systems on the aircraft. Work also includes working with aircraft and laboratory integration to help the technical team resolve and fix complex issues.
Position Responsibilities:

• Servant leader working with engineers to work through issues and integrate the testing of the Radar and IFF system.
• Manages, develops and motivates employees.
• Provides technical management of suppliers.
• Works with the office of airworthiness to certify electrical products.
• Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets group goals.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 5 or more years of experience in an engineering related role.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3 or more years of experience leading teams.
• Experience integrating hardware and software equipment in a laboratory and aircraft environment.
• Experience working with suppliers and supply chain management.
• Cost Account Manager experience.
• Proposal development experience.

Summary pay range: $128,350 - $173,650
