Job Description Qualifications:
Boeing Defense, Space, & Security (BDS) is seeking Lead Mission Systems Project Engineers located in Oklahoma City, OK to integrate and test leading edge solutions to directly support the warfighter.
Boeing OKC is experiencing unprecedented growth across all of its supported platforms due to the award of multiple new contracts. The following platforms supported are: Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) for US, Saudi and NATO, Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEWC) for Australia, Turkey, United Kingdom and Korea, B-1 Strike Bomber, B-2 Stealth Bomber, B-52 Heavy Bomber, and the ALCM weapon. These platforms continue to be updated to keep them relevant and supportive of emerging military systems. Upgrades include state-of-the-art radar systems, hypersonic weapons systems, and cutting-edge digital communication infrastructure.
Candidates selected for this position may work in the Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) and Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) Group supporting various international airborne command and control platforms. We are also hiring for the Bombers platform supporting the B-1 and B-52 Bombers. They will work with various engineering teams to develop and execute recovery plans, electronic re-work plans, and project support. They will then work with the team to status and update these plans of action to help push along the integration of the platform. Work also includes working with aircraft and laboratory integration to help the technical team resolve and fix complex issues.

Position Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing project plans for Mission systems.
• Servant leader working with engineers to work through issues and integrate the testing of the Mission system.
• Works with teams to complete tasks and work out issues and blockers to achieving completion.
• Gathers information to support integration project management. Documents deployed processes and tools and collect metrics.
• Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
• 5+ years or more of Project leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Project
• Experience working with suppliers and supply chain management
• Cost Account Manager experience
• Proposal development experience

Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range, Lead: $107,100 - $144,900
Additional Information:
Work Schedule: Oklahoma City has a 9/80 work schedule. Every other Friday is an off day.
