Job description

Mission Assurance Physical Security Analyst
Key Role:
Provide non-personal professional services for a DoD client. Manage the application of analytical risk management principles that enable organizations to achieve Mission Assurance by preparing for, preventing, mitigating, and responding to and recovering from emergencies. Work independently with some guidance, review or guide activities of other team members, and assist with planning and coordinating activities of a team conducting protection program higher headquarters assessments at military installations. Conduct Physical Security pre-assessment work, including data gathering, research, and coordination, and execute and assist with documenting and reporting the findings of installation assessments as part of a team. Use various automated tools, databases, and other software programs to support assessment activities, and prepare observations and recommendations for installation leadership and staff. Assist a team lead to prepare briefing materials and collaborate with active duty and civil service government staff and counterparts across organizations and other government agencies. Coordinate with protection programs, including law enforcement, fire protection, structural and infrastructure engineering, emergency management, and communications systems. Work extended hours, outdoors, and sometimes in austere conditions.
Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Physical Security and Mission Assurance programs with DoD organizations
  • Knowledge of DoD Risk Management concepts in a Mission Assurance environment
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of Physical Security data
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,200.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
