Your duties will include performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and conducting preventive maintenance tasks. Key Responsibilities
Equipment Installation and Assembly:
- Assemble and install machinery, conveyor systems, and other equipment used in the production process.
- Ensure proper alignment, calibration, and functionality of equipment.
- Collaborate with other employees to set up new machinery or relocate existing equipment.
Maintenance and Repair:
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns or emergencies.
- Regularly inspect machinery and equipment to identify any signs of wear, damage, or malfunction.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including lubrication, adjustments, and part replacements.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as bearings, belts, gears, and hydraulic systems.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with heavy machinery.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and industry standards for equipment maintenance and repairs.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with production supervisors, engineers, and other team members to optimize equipment performance.
- Communicate effectively regarding maintenance schedules, repairs, and equipment availability.
- Provide input on equipment upgrades or modifications to enhance efficiency and safety.
Record Keeping and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and part replacements.
