Responsibilities:
MIG Welding, Carbon Steel. 1st Shift 7:00am to 3:30 pm. Must be able to read prints/shop drawings.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
- Have or achieve AWS Certification at the D1.1 & D1.3 standard within 14 days of awarded job (internal pre-qualification required, prior to offering position).
- Good communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to learn.
- Flexibility with both work assignments and weekends.
- Ability to read and interpret shop prints and Weld Tolerance Manual.
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions, and decimals.
- Use required measuring devices such as tape measure, square, weld gauge, etc. to accurately check and document part quality.
- Safely operate overhead crane to load and unload material.
