Mid Level Quality Engineer - Automation C#

Genesis10 is seeking a Mid Level QE for a contract with our client in Minnetonka, MN. This role is hybrid with candidates being able to sit in the Plano, TX or Minneapolis, MN area. Candiates should be comfortable with 2x per week onsite.
Job Description:
Project info: Client is in need of team members to join this exciting commercial software type work where you would be working on a SaaS product to help with a data conversion. Their SaaS product is moving past beta stage and now they are working through data conversion to get it ready for market. This individual will be responsible for automated testing for assigned products and their associated releases; includes creating the framework for our automation efforts, scripting and maintaining automated scripts for multiple automated tools. This individual will be a key contributor in creating test scripts while supporting the testing team in their use of the automation solution. Required Qualifications:

• QA with Automation experience - A background in C# as an Automation QA is a must for this role with automation experience required and ability to write test cases from scratch in c# and ability to also run manual testing as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Analyzes project requirements and develops test plans, test cases and other testing documentation
• Assists in development and execution of defined test automation processes,Identifies functionality that can most benefit from test automation and helps implement its automation.
• Executes manual and automated test scripts
• Works with the team to maximize quality of deliveries
• Contributes towards initiatives that improve the consistency and quality of RamQuest products
• Ensures testing processes are followed, minimizes errors and meets release dates
• Works with the development team and participates in reviews at all phases of the software development cycle
• At a minimum, the ability to work _ 8_ a.m. to _ 5_ p.m. Monday through Friday.
• Regular consistent attendance is required, that could include attendance at after hour Company events.
• Ability to accept supervision and direction.
• Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships. Must be able to get along with others, i.e., peers, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors.
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone and in person.
• Must be personable, positive, and a professional representative of the Company.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 1+ years test automation experience is required,
• BA preferred
• 4 years of experience in using Java, C# or VB Scripting (including academic)
• Strong SQL knowledge, ability to write queries against multiple databases
• Strong knowledge of Web Services using REST technology
• Strong working knowledge of Selenium Page Object Model or similar automation architecture.
• Working knowledge of the Agile process
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation:
Hourly W2 pay rate $48-54
We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
