JOB TITLE: Senior Quality Engineer

LOCATION: 11000 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)

DUTIES: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Duties include: Design, code, unit test, white box tests, and debug software; write or participate in code documentation; Lead or serve as a strategic technical software programming resource in the design and implementation of test software (unit test/automation) for software applications, system architectures and framework or software test tools that achieve desired systems application and development functionality; Solve complex software engineering problems and issues requiring insight and innovation; Leverage knowledge and experience across the business to develop innovative solutions which gain global competitive advantages; Lead the solution of or solve complex strategic software engineering and technical problems in innovative and effective ways; Help provide decisions and actions that frequently influence the work of other team members, other teams, some management decisions, several business processes and material customer outcomes; Lead or develop innovative software engineering and technical solutions that sometimes result in technical and software engineering advances in features and functionality of products; Participate in and reviews software project estimates; Lead and participate in software design reviews; Create unique software engineering and technical design solutions; Lead RCA activities for any issue caused by escape or unexpected behavior in area of primary responsibility; Act as first responder during critical outage as needed; Train, mentor and review the work of less experienced personnel; and work on projects at the Sub-BU, BU or Enterprise level. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or a related computer occupation. Position requires four (4) years of experience in the following:

• Test automation tools such as Selenium or UFT;
• Scripting tools such as Javascript or VBScript;
• Databases such as SQL or Oracle;
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Octopus;
• Programming Languages such as Java or Dot Net;
• Cross Browser testing or Mobile Testing;
• Methodology tools such as Agile or Waterfall;
• Test Management tools such as Jira or HP QC;
• Cloud technologies such as AWS and Non-Relational Databases;
• Functional testing, Regression, E2E ,UAT Test Design and Execution;
• Designing different Automation Frameworks for Web and Mobile Applications (Web/Native) to Android and IOS;
• Creating stubs and Driver Scripts;
• Agile methodology;
• Healthcare Domain; and
• Payments Industry.

RATE OF PAY: $135,200 - $165,632 / per year
