Systems Technology & Research, Inc. (STaR) is seeking a Microsoft Power Apps Developer / Administrator in the Huntsville, AL area supporting Army Aviation. Candidates should be a highly motivated and responsive self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks. As a Power Apps Developer/Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power Apps solutions to meet the organization's needs. You will also play a crucial role in developing and supporting the Power Apps platform, ensuring its smooth operation and optimal performance.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of overall IT experience (10+ years of experience in lieu of a college degree) with at least 3 years of related experience in Power Apps development and administration.
- Experience with SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and Office 365.
- Proven experience in developing and customizing Microsoft Power Apps solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Experience in integrating Power Apps with other Microsoft and third-party applications.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud-based technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Active DoD security clearance or the ability to obtain.
Job Duties:
- Integrate Power Apps with other Microsoft and third-party applications, such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Power BI.
- Develop and customize PowerPoint and Microsoft Power Apps solutions to address organizational requirements and enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Power Apps solutions.
- Design and create user-friendly interfaces and workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Administer the Power Apps platform, including managing user roles, security, and permissions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to Power Apps performance, data integrity, and user access.
- Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to end-users, empowering them to utilize Power Apps effectively.
- Stay up to date with the latest Power Apps features, updates, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team.
Preferred Skills and Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (Preferred)
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate
