Microbiologist

Job Summary: 13 WEEKS CONTRACT
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Microbiologist to join our team. As a Microbiologist, you will be responsible for conducting various laboratory tests and experiments to analyze and identify microorganisms. Your work will contribute to the development and improvement of products and processes in the field of microbiology.

Duties:
- Perform microbiological testing on samples using techniques such as Western blot, PCR, DNA isolation, and microscopy
- Cultivate and maintain microbial cultures for research purposes
- Conduct analysis of test results and prepare reports
- Ensure compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize laboratory protocols
- Maintain accurate records of experiments, procedures, and results
- Monitor inventory levels of laboratory supplies and reagents
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience working in a clinical laboratory or research setting
- Strong knowledge of microbiological techniques, including cell culture, molecular biology, and microbial identification methods
- Familiarity with CGMP guidelines and laboratory quality control procedures
- Proficient in data analysis software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
