Metering And Control Technician I

Candidate will perform field work in reading, repairing and

installing electric and water meters and load management

switches. Knowledge of minimal computer and clerical skills

are required. Must be able to work in extreme weather

conditions, as well as interact with the public in a professional

and courteous manner. Applicants are required to live within a

30 mile radius from the corporate limits of the town. A high

school diploma (or GED) and a valid N.C. driver’s license with

a good driving record are required. Excellent benefits and

starting salary is $33,623 annually or $16.16/hour Applications
