Goins Enterprises founded in 2001, located in Joplin MO is a utility contractor providing a variety of services for municipal, industrial and commercial industries specializing in electrical, natural gas and water related infrastructural construction. We are now hiring for multiple positions with our water Meter Installation crews.
Job Description: Water Meter Installation Technician, working projects replacing water meters. Based out of Joplin MO, work requires out of town travel, during the week, housing and daily per-diem provided. Excellent pay and benefits provided plus opportunity for growth within company. (Generally work 10hrs days, over time work likely)
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lift up to 50lbs
- Working outside in possibly adverse conditions
- Bending and working from knees multiple times per day
- Must comply with safe working requirements (PPE provided/required)
- Must be able to read and follow instructions on plans
- Valid driver’s license required
- Able to pass drug test
Experience: (Preferred)
- Construction
- Small tools/powered tools
- Plumbing
- OSHA Training
Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 p/h
