Job Description:

As a Production Manager (3rd Shift), you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing sheet metal fabrication operations. 

• Production Planning: Develop and implement efficient production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization in sheet metal fabrication.
• Quality Control: Implement and maintain stringent quality control measures to ensure the production of high-precision sheet metal components that adhere to industry standards.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce lead times, and increase overall efficiency in sheet metal fabrication.
• Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a skilled team of sheet metal fabricators. Foster a culture of collaboration and safety while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance and optimal utilization of sheet metal fabrication equipment. Collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
• Inventory Control: Monitor and manage raw material inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels to meet production demands without unnecessary surplus.
• Budget Oversight: Collaborate with the finance department to manage the production budget effectively, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability in sheet metal fabrication once leaders set budget.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, procurement, and quality assurance teams to streamline processes, troubleshoot issues, and achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Production Manager in sheet metal fabrication.
• In-depth knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, quality control standards, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and manufacturing ERP systems is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic sheet metal fabrication environment.
