LHH is recruiting for a full-service fabrication shop that’s looking for an Estimator to join the team ASAP! The shop is in Kemp, TX. After training, you can work remotely most of the time and will only be expected to report to the office 1 day per week.

Compensation: $85-90k + annual discretionary bonus

Paid Holidays: Christmas Day, New Yeas Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday
Vacation/PTO: 80 hours annually (renews on hire date anniversary. Does not carry over to the following year, must be cashed in before anniversary date)

Responsibilities

· Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for custom Metal Fabrication projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project requirements.

· Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure cost-effective and quality fabrication solutions.

· Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date database of past projects, pricing, and resource requirements to streamline future estimating processes.

· Continuously monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and pricing fluctuations to stay updated on current fabrication techniques, costs, and market conditions.

· Support project execution by assisting with project planning, resource allocation, and scheduling.

· Provide technical guidance and support to the sales team during client meetings and presentations.

Qualifications

· A minimum of 10 years of experience in custom Metal Fabrication estimating, with a strong understanding of various metal types, fabrication processes, and associated tooling.

· Proficient knowledge of Metal Fabrication methods, including welding, machining, forming, cutting, and finishing.

· Excellent understanding of blueprint reading, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.

· Proven track record in producing accurate cost estimates and meeting project deadlines.

· Proficiency in using computer-aided estimating software and MS Office applications.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to accurately assess project requirements and identify potential risks and challenges.

· Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and explain estimates and proposals effectively.

· Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing project requirements and effectively manage time and priorities.

Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $89,999.00 per year
