ACT is a custom machine design and manufacturing company (www.actclean.com) We are seeking a talented HANDS ON metal fabricator to LEAD and increase FAB shop production of stainless steel weldments. Must be highly experience with TIG welding, stainless steel fabricating, CNC machinery operation, and know your way around a fast-paced yet very clean factory.
5 years of industrial experience working with stainless steel fabrication, fit up, TIG welding, blending, and managing a crew of welder/fabricators in a team and hands-on manner.
Who we want:
- Person can pass our on-site weld test
- Person is knowledgeable in all facets of modern TIG techniques for heat control while producing excellent welds
- Person who can lead a team of metal workers with high morale and exceed production goals
- Person with experience reading and understanding drawings in English and can measure and produce with accuracy
- Person with computer skills and knows his/her way around electronic drawing viewers
- Person with true love for the art of Metal Fabrication and yet understands time is money
- Person with experience using CNC shear, press brake, plasma, roll, etc and capable of teaching others how to safely use them
- Punctual person that arrives on-time, and is willing to go the extra mile when called upon to get the job done with quality and on schedule
