About the role:

The Analyst, Pricing role is the primary financial analysis resource for the EVO B2B Sales Teams and is vital in the success of the sales team. The Pricing Analyst is responsible for understanding the most recent card brand interchanges rates, rules, and details and utilizing this knowledge when providing pricing and estimated savings for each prospective merchant. The incumbent will work in conjunction with the sales teams as the crucial advisor when determining pricing and strategies for presenting EVO’s proposed pricing to prospective merchants. The Pricing Analyst must be able to articulate interchange rates, rules and terminology to both Sales Representatives as well as prospective merchants directly. The incumbent will be responsible for understanding current costs and requirements when preparing analyses to ensure the maximum profitability for EVO B2B, while also providing savings for the prospective client.

Be a part of a team where you will:

  • Provide pricing analysis for Sales Representatives and prospective merchants
  • Perform margin and pricing analysis in order to support business initiatives
  • Monitor and update B2B templates including proprietary analysis and enhanced report
  • Track all necessary information and statistics for prospective clients and analyses that are completed
  • Provide account and/or pricing analysis for existing B2B client’s to determine price reductions and provide current account standings
  • Calculate profitability on prospective and existing merchants to determine pricing or revenue lost/gained
  • Confer with Sales to assist in developing proposal strategies
  • Review and analyze competitive proposals received by current merchants
  • Review existing portfolio pricing changes
  • Assist in training future Pricing Analysts
  • Validate and process refunds to merchants
  • Update training manuals as needed
  • Calculate back pay to referral partners when applicable
  • Monitor/Validate repriced merchants
  • Report on ACH Rejects to Support team
  • Perform related projects and duties as assigned
  • Practice and comply with all regulations promoting a safe and healthy work environment (i.e. OSHA)
  • Adhere to privacy; confidential, proprietary company policies and procedures (i.e. HIPAA)

About you:

  • Extensive, expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Minimum of 3+ years analysis experience
  • Experience collaborating with Sales Representatives to prepare financial presentations
  • In-depth knowledge of Visa/MC/Disc/AMEX interchange and network pricing, fees, qualification requirements, etc.
  • High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Extensive, expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, Access, and Windows based programs including e-mail required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats with individuals and groups.
  • Ability to handle and complete multiple projects, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to utilize personal computer, telephone, facsimile, copier, calculator, and other general office equipment.
  • Ability to perform financial program queries and research.
  • Ability to interact effectively and positively with all levels of personnel, partners, and vendors.
  • Ability to handle confidential material appropriately
