Job Title: Part-time MEP Consultant
Job Summary: We are seeking a part-time MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Consultant to provide expertise and guidance on various construction projects. The consultant will be responsible for advising on MEP systems design, reviewing plans, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. This position offers flexible working hours, with an estimated commitment of approximately 4 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and consultation on MEP systems design and implementation.
- Review architectural and engineering plans to ensure MEP systems are integrated effectively.
- Offer recommendations for optimizing MEP system efficiency and sustainability.
- Advise on code compliance and regulatory requirements related to MEP systems.
- Collaborate with project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to address MEP-related challenges and ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering (or related field).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP consulting or related field.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards related to MEP systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant design software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or virtual environment.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to commit approximately 4 hours per week.
