Job Description
MidWest Center is seeking a self-motivated and committed Outpatient Mental Health Therapist to provide full-time or part-time therapy for adults, adolescents, families and couples. We are currently accepting applications for St Paul and Burnsville locations with hybrid telehealth options.
As a Mental Health therapist with MidWest Center you have the freedom to build the type of practice you enjoy with a schedule that works for you and your practice.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate Mental Health diagnoses, create, implement and maintain treatment plans and complete ongoing documentation
- Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in your community
- Develop therapeutic relationships to establish personal recovery goals, rehabilitative goals, and objectives with each client
- Collaborate and coordinate services with school staff, families/guardians of clients, case managers, and medical personnel
Requirements:
- Master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields and be on track to be a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Experience with completing DAs, treatment plans and clinical case notes.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate mental stability and model appropriate boundaries
- Timely and accurate submission of documentation of services and other documents as required
- Proficient in the use of day to day office technology, Electronic Health Record system and telehealth video platform.
