What to expect from this role?
- Evaluate disorders and delays that affect patient's ability to perform daily activities and reach the educational goals.
- Develop/improve individual’s ability to independently perform tasks
- Serve as member of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team for students with occupational therapy concerns
- Facilitate goals and objectives per child’s educational plan
- Maintain appropriate records
- Work in coordination with personnel to develop appropriate programs for eligible patients.
- Effectively communicate with doctors, administrators, and others.
- Perform other OT duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification
- Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
