Anchor Within Counseling is a small group practice looking for a pre-licensed or licensed Behavioral Health Therapist. We offer racially-specific and culturally-specific services. We are currently looking for a clinician to serve Black/African American and Latino/a clients. This position is in-person with the option for 1 virtual day.

Therapist Duties
- Conduct therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused, narrative, emotion focused therapy, family systems, or the like.
- Maintain availability to see 4-6 clients per day.
- Assess clients' Mental Health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive care.
- Complete risk assessments and provide crisis intervention support as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of Mental Health.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field
- Valid Oregon licensure or pre-license to deliver Mental Health care
- Experience working with adults and/or youth in a therapeutic setting
- Familiarity with Mental Health terminology
- Strong communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
Culturally-Specific Skills Desired
- Knowledge and ability to serve Black/African and/or Latino populations from a racial trauma lens
- Willingness to work with clients who ascribe to religious/spiritual beliefs as protective factors
