Job Responsibilities
This position is located at Department of Mental Health/Columbia Area Mental Health Center, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Program, CAMHC #413.
Under general supervision, oversees the administrative operations of the ACT team; provides clinical oversight of services ensuring patients are seen in accordance with their needs and the delivery of best and ethical practices; provides direct services to ACT service beneficiaries; ensures services are documented in accordance to SCDMH/QA requirements.
Provides direct supervision to ACT team members to include but not limited to: facilitating clinical supervision meetings, treatment team meetings, coordinating training for team and completing evaluations.
Ensures a department commitment to cultural affairs and ensures all direct reports have a cultural affairs component to his or her planning document as a measurable objective. Pursues professional development through collegial consultation, continuing education and licensure.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
State Requirements: A master's degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field and professional experience in a Mental Health, or social service program.
Agency Requirements: Licensed as a licensed psychologist, LISW, LPC or LMFT, and two (2) years or more post graduate experience working with adults diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illness.
Note: If any Agency Requirements are listed, applicants must also meet those requirements to be considered for the position.
Preferred Qualifications
Agency Prefers: Three (3) or more years of post-graduate counseling experience in a clinical setting.
