Mental Health Practitioner Responsibilities: MHP • Establish supportive and motivational relationships with client • Coach client to utilize coping strategies and de-escalate crises • Train and support client how to budget Train to ensure clients follow safety guidelines • Collaborate with other staff members, case manager, and interns Mental Health Practitioner. Provide culturally responsive Mental Health skills to clients in the home community • Assist clients in identifying goals for functional improvement and work with them to meet their goals • Design and implement treatment/intervention in-home reflective of client needs • Receive clinical supervision from qualified staff, and obtain continuing education units.
• Must have one to two years of experience, education, or combination in behavioral health, social work, psychology, counseling, nursing, or related area • Must meet the definition of Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker or Mental Health Practitioner per Department of Human Services licensing requirements Life Care Health Services.

Qualifications
Must have one to two years of experience, education, or combination in behavioral health, social work, psychology, counseling, nursing, or related area

Must meet definition of Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker or Mental Health Practitioner per Department of Human Services licensing requirements
Qualifications

Meet the Mental Health Practitioner requirements as per MN State Statute 245I.04.04
•
Hold a Master's degree or other graduate degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields
•
Hold a Bachelor's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields AND 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of Mental Health services to people with mental illness
•
Candidates who have completed a practicum or internship that requires direct interaction with adults or children served, and is focused on behavioral sciences or related fields may qualify and are encouraged to apply regardless of whether they have 2000 hours of experience
•
Meet the Clinical Trainee requirements per MN State Statute 245I.04.06
•
Has completed an accredited graduate program of study to prepare the staff person for independent licensure as a Mental Health professional
Pay $25-$28 Based on experience and qualifications.
