We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Counselor to join our team at Genardo Mental Health Counseling P.C.. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will play a crucial role in providing support and care to individuals with Mental Health needs. Responsibilities:
- Write treatment plans
- Write Comprehensive Assessments
- Facilitate individual counseling
- Write treatment plans
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with Mental Health
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and assist in conducting clinical counseling sessions
- Suicide Assessments
- Monitor and document patient progress, behaviors, and responses to treatment
- Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when necessary
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient records
- Teach coping skills
- Teach social skills
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to Mental Health
- Experience in behavioral therapy techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy
- Familiarity with clinical counseling practices and therapeutic interventions
- Ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages, including children and adults
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
